Every screen has a unique pixel density (PPI). To make the ruler match real-world physical sizes, click the Calibrate button in the toolbar. Choose auto-detect, select your device, enter screen diagonal, or align a physical credit card.
Several tools can be switched on together, and everything you draw stays on the canvas — switching tools never erases past work. For example: turn on Box (B) and drag a rectangle, then turn on Angle (A) and measure an angle, then turn on Label (N) to annotate it. They all remain visible side by side. Guide lines (G) drops dashed reference lines, and Crosshair (C) is a separate cursor aid that follows your mouse. Press the same shortcut or button again to turn a single tool off.
With Angle (A) active, click three points in order:
1. the vertex (the corner of the angle) · 2. the end of the first arm · 3. the end of the second arm. The angle in degrees is drawn at the vertex. Click anywhere to start another angle — you can place as many angles, boxes and labels as you need, all on screen at once.
Every measurement you create can be taken back. Press Ctrl+Z to undo and Ctrl+Shift+Z (or Ctrl+Y) to redo. You can also use the Undo / Redo buttons in the toolbar.
