The tool is provided free of charge for personal and professional measurement purposes. You may use it as often as you like. We grant you a non-exclusive, revocable license to use the tool as provided; you may not resell, redistribute, or repackage it as a competing service.

2. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we work hard to make measurements accurate through calibration, the tool is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. On-screen measurement depends on your display, browser zoom, and calibration. Do not rely on it for safety-critical, medical, legal, or engineering decisions where error is unacceptable. For such uses, verify with a physical ruler or calibrated instrument.

3. No Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Online Ruler and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the tool — including any inaccuracy in measurements.

4. Intellectual Property

All software, design, and content on this site are owned by Online Ruler or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The brand name and logos may not be used without permission.

5. Privacy

Your use of the tool is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In brief, measurements are processed locally and are not uploaded.

6. Changes to the Tool

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the tool (or any feature) at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
